SONGWRITING

Here - hit play on the vid below, and do yourself a favour; when it gets to 2:06, crank it the f*** up:

This is “Grand Schemes”, a song from the forthcoming musical “Rules of Time Travel”; a multi-platform sci-fi with music by Richard Wise and book & lyrics by myself (the vocals on this track are by Gracie Rowland).

Besides being an award-nominated composer, Rich is also a multi-instrumentalist and a producer, and he’s starting to get some notice for his work on The Questions.

I can’t say too much about thus project yet, but development is well underway, and we are very excited about it.

Oh you have a baby? I used to be one of those, you should ask it if it’s heard of me.

You can also play it this dulcet lullaby about the moon, with lyrics by myself and music by Asher Pope (vocals by Stephanie Crowe).

I can’t crank the volume, my baby is sleeping.

And then WAKE THEM UP WITH THIS SONG ABOUT BEES (lyrics by myself, music by Asher Pope, vocals by Jace Excell)

Asher has composed a bunch of stuff for TV, films, ads and library music, and he’s scored most of the things I’ve directed, including Suspect Moustache. He also produced and arranged these weird little numbers I wrote for SusMo (I can assure you, they did not sound as good on my barely-tuned uke).

Permanent Werewolf (vocals by Jack Cahill)

Clonin’ Jesus (vocals by Demi Lardner & Nkechi Anele)

Devil’s AdvoGoat (vocals by old muggins here)
